Hello.
I am a fifth-year doctoral student at the Joint Center for Quantum Information and Computer Science (QuICS) at the University of Maryland, College Park, advised by Prof. Gorjan Alagic.
My research focuses on the intersection of quantum computing and cryptography, with additional interests in differential privacy and quantum optimization.
Prior to Maryland, I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in the interdisciplinary major of Mathematics and Computer Science from Reed College. During my time there, I conducted research in differential privacy and statistics, advised by Prof. Adam Groce and Prof. Andrew Bray. My thesis, titled Area Law for Local Hamiltonians, was supervised by Prof. Jamie Pommersheim.
