Hello.
I am a doctoral student in Computer Science at the Joint Center for Quantum Information and Computer Science (QuICS) at the University of Maryland, College Park, where I am advised by Prof. Gorjan Alagic.
My research lies at the intersection of quantum computing and cryptography, with additional interests in differential privacy and quantum optimization.
Prior to Maryland, I earned a Bachelor of Arts in the interdisciplinary major of Mathematics and Computer Science from Reed College. At Reed, I conducted research in differential privacy and statistics under the guidance of Prof. Adam Groce and Prof. Andrew Bray. My undergraduate thesis, Area Law for Local Hamiltonians, was supervised by Prof. Jamie Pommersheim.
